Double click to enlarge UK map above Traighuaine is 20 miles south of Oban and 18 miles north of Lochgilpead just east of the A816. Please note that if you search internet mapping sites with the postcode the marker is placed a few hundred metres north of the actual position. The map link above gives the exact position with the house named displayed on the map. It is clearly signposted from the road and is approximately 400 metres up a narrow paved road. Please note that there is a 2 ton weight restriction on this road. The nearest fuel stations and supermarkets are in Oban and Lochgilphead. Basic supplies can be obtained from Ardfern (4 miles), Craobh Haven (1 mile) and Kilmelfort (4 miles). There are two good bars and restaurants within a couple of miles. They are the Lord of the Isles at Craobh Haven (pronounced Croove) and the Loch Melfort Hotel near Arduiane (pronounced ardooni).
