Everest (8,848m) via the North Col 2010 and Khakpa Ri via standard route (7,000m)

In 1994 we successfully climbed Everest via the South Col and had a wonderful time. We plan to repeat the whole exercise but this time via the North Col. As before we will take a large scientific group with us and, in order to get more meaningful scientific data, a substantial nuber of this research group will attempt Lhakpa Ri which affords stunning views of Everest and is, itself, a 7,000 metre peak.
